Matrix Accreditation

Matrix Accreditation, awarded by the Guidance Accreditation Board, was achieved.  This recognises the high quality standards for provision of information, advice and guidance to individuals for learning and work. The Matrix assessor commented:

• ‘NWN demonstrated exceptional clarity of focus on current and future planning of services ensuring effective evaluation of activities
• NWN staff were considered inspirational in their support and development of clients. They demonstrated significant motivational and affirmation skills and their support was considered pivotal in the progression of clients
• NWN also demonstrated particular commitment to the promotion of its services to the local community. Methods for attracting new learners were carefully considered in line with identified need and developments were considered in the context of extensive local knowledge and research’

Mentor Training Accreditation

Mentor Training Accreditation was achieved for both Level 1 training, accredited by National Mentoring Network, and Level 2 training, accredited by Open College Network.
