About NWN
NWN was established in 1993. We are a voluntary organisation, run by a Management Committee
NWN aims to promote, support, encourage and enable women to reach their full potential through confidence building, empowering, training, education and increasing the aspirations of women
NWN seeks funding to provide this service
Our recent Choices and Choices Plus projects have offered the following courses and services:
- ICT Training
- Personal Development
- Career Development
- Skills for Life – Numeracy and Literacy
- Mentor Training
- Mentor Support
- Business Tasters
- Work Related Tasters
Current situation (May to October 2007)
We have LSC funding (managed by CEEMAC) for the following:
- To hold 8 consultation events
- To produce a 5 year business plan (through consultation)
- Achieve OCN (Open College Network) accreditation for Choices Plus
- Produce an application for further funding
